Affiliate networks are the hidden money-maker of many content-focused Web sites. Sure, ads, including Google AdSense listings, generate some cash. But successful sites, particularly those focused on high-value product niches, often turn to affiliate networks in order to diversify -- and boost -- their revenue streams.
