| AT&T U-Verse Targets Small Business Too |
| 05.20.2008 |
Don't know if AT&T has come to your town pitching its U-Verse service -- basically a pay TV alternative that the former "Ma Bell" company is using to take on the cable TV industry.
If they have -- and whether or not you bit on their pitch -- AT&T is marketing higher-speed small business Internet service under the same U-Verse name.
The new offering, dubbed AT&T U-Verse for Business, offers download speeds of up to 10 Mbps and uploads of up to 1.5 Mbps.
That compares to highs of 6 Mbps and 768 Mbps for the company's Business Class DSL service.
The new U-Verse service can support up to 32 Internet access connections (four wired, 28 wireless) over existing wiring.
Check out this story on the new U-Verse service as well as the U-Verse Onward SmallBiz Web site for additional details.
Pricing for the 10Mbps download service starts at $100 per month.
